Do you live south of Interstate 70 in Wentzville? If so, you live in the Peruque Creek watershed!

Unfortunately, this local stream is currently suffering from sediment and nutrient pollution, which directly impacts the wildlife, health and recreational use of the stream and Lake Saint Louis.

The good news? We can fix this together.

Join the City of Wentzville's Stormwater Division tomorrow, July 8 at 7 p.m. at the Wentzville Sugarfire Smoke House for an informational presentation about the pollution impacting Peruque Creek, including:

• How upcoming grants, community programs and watershed management decisions have a positive impact on our local community.
• How a local a local alliance of residents, local governments and businesses are working together to make a bigger impact.
• How you can get involved in protecting Peruque Creek right in your own backyard.
• Steps we are taking to decrease pollution and restore Peruque Creek.

Arrive early if you plan to purchase dinner so that you don't miss any of the presentation!
