Overview

The Board of Adjustment is a five member Board with three alternate members, who are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen.

Meetings

The Board of Adjustment meets the second Thursday of each month, on an as needed basis, in City Hall Board Chambers, 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd., Wentzville, MO at 6 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Board of Adjustment’s duties are to hold hearings and make decisions concerning request for variances from the Zoning Ordinance. Such variances are not granted for specific uses, but from requests concerning specific performance criteria such as setbacks or height requirements. The Board of Adjustment’s powers, duties and procedures are detailed within the Wentzville Zoning Regulations.
