Electronics Recycling and Document Shredding Event

The City of Wentzville will be hosting the annual Electronics Recycling and Document Shredding Event on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9-11:30 a.m.

This event will take place at the North Point Middle School parking lot at 2275 W. Meyer Rd. This is a *free drive-thru and drop-off recycling event, and is open to families and individuals only (no businesses, please). Please note, the event entrance will close at 11:30 a.m.

Electronics Recycling:

The City will once again be partnering with TechRemove for this event. Almost anything with a plug is accepted. Some items, such as CRT TVs and monitors, will incur a fee to be recycled. A complete list of accepted items and fees can be viewed here.

Document Shredding:

Each resident will be allowed up to up to three banker’s box sized boxes or bags of documents to shred. Shredding will be conducted onsite. All shredded paper products are warranted to be properly shredded for document security purposes, and are recycled so as not to fill up our landfills.
