Utility Rates

Water, sewer and solid waste services are billed monthly and due 10 days after the bill date. Water charges include a base monthly fee, plus water usage calculated by monthly meter reads. Sewer charges for residential customers include a base monthly fee, plus a usage charge for the average water used over the four months of November, December, January and February. New customer use is based on the monthly winter average of 4,500 gallons until your own usage history is established.

Utility Payment Options

Payment options for your utility account include automatic bank draft from a checking or savings account, automatic draft by credit card, mail-in payment, drop box, pay by phone with a credit or debit card, or in-person payment. The drop box is available at City Hall, located at 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd. Cash, check and money orders are accepted. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted with a 2% surcharge added. For the average resident paying their utility bill with a credit card, this will equal approximately $2 per billing cycle.

Smart Meters

The City of Wentzville is in the process of installing Smart Meters throughout the City. Crews are still working through this free upgrade for residents, but it’s possible you already have one! Log in to the new EyeOnWater portal to view your custom dashboard. Here, you’ll find a comprehensive look at your household’s water usage. Watch this tutorial to learn more about how to use EyeOnWater.

Round Up Your Monthly Bill to Give Back

Sign up to “round up” your monthly utility bill to the nearest dollar and make a positive impact on our senior community!
So, how does it work? If you sign up, your monthly utility bill will be rounded up to the next highest dollar. For example, if your bill is $44.25, it will be rounded up to $45.00, making a contribution of $0.75. The funds raised from this program are donated to our local Meals on Wheels program.

YES, I would like to participate in the “round-up” program. I authorize the City to round up my utility bill to the nearest dollar each month by submitting my information. I understand I may revoke this authorization at any time by submitting a 30-day written notice to the City.

Thank you for your participation in this charitable program! If you have questions, please call (636) 639-2155.
