On Thursday, Aug. 7, the Water Department will be making repairs and completing maintenance work to a water line at the intersection of Linn Avenue and West Maple Street. This will result in a water outage for some homes in the area from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. The water outage will be followed by a precautionary boil advisory for some homes in that area. The Wentzville Police Department (WPD) is sliding into another stretch of its ongoing traffic safety efforts — with safety always top of mind!

WPD’s Traffic Safety Campaign is already in full gear and continues through September. This ongoing initiative focuses on increasing roadway safety and reducing traffic crashes right here in our community.

Officers are prioritizing speed enforcement, hazardous moving violations, expired registrations and temporary license tags. This focused effort is driven by both data and community concerns, with the goal of not just enforcement — but education.

Let’s hit the brakes on unsafe driving and work together to keep Wentzville’s streets safe.
