Wentzville’s Name-That-Plow Contest
We are excited to announce the launch of our first-ever Name-That-Plow Contest! We want your help naming Wentzville’s snowplows! Residents of all ages are invited to submit ideas to name four of our City snowplows.
Contest Rules
- Participants may enter up to four names
- Submitted names must be 20 characters or fewer and no more than three words
- Names cannot include profanity or inappropriate language
- Names cannot be an individual’s name
- If a name is submitted multiple times, only the first entry will be considered.
Snowplow name entries will be accepted between 8 a.m. Nov. 7 and 5 p.m. Dec. 5. The City of Wentzville’s Public Works team will select the finalists. The final round of public voting will take place from Dec. 10-12, and the winners will be announced in late January.
Prizes & Recognition
Winners of the contest will receive the following:
- A tour of the Wentzville Public Works Facility
- A certificate from the Mayor
- A placard with the winning snowplow name
- A feature in a City Reel showcasing the reveal of their design on the truck
