The Wentzville Water Division will execute urgent repair work on the City’s main water supply transmission main beginning Monday, March 30. This work is taking place before the peak summer usage months to reduce potential impacts on customers; however, customers may still experience reduced pressure during the repair period. We anticipate the repair will be complete within 72 hours. If you have questions, please call (636) 639-2121 during regular business hours.

Main Street Revitalization Project

Project Status

Main Street serves as one of the primary roadways that define a sense of place in downtown Wentzville. Portions of Main Street have been upgraded with new pavement, new sidewalks and streetscape elements. The proposed Main Street Improvements Project will continue these roadway and sidewalk improvements between Hilltop Drive and Church Street to connect recent developments to downtown Wentzville and to improve the overall connectivity and visual appeal of the downtown area.

The project involves roadway and sidewalk design, the incorporation of streetscape elements and on-street parking to mimic Main Street east and west of the project limits. The project will also include design consideration for better handling off-site stormwater that passes through this section of Main Street from areas north of the railroad tracks.

December 2025 – Design work is ongoing. The project team is refining plans for the roadway, sidewalks, streetscape, and stormwater improvements, and is reviewing right-of-way needs as design progresses.
