Great Oaks Boulevard Extension Project

Project Status

This project will construct approximately 2,200 feet of new collector roadway to connect the two existing sections of Great Oaks Boulevard in the Great Oaks and Timber Trace subdivisions. This road extension will provide a secondary means of ingress and egress to multiple subdivisions, which currently rely on Highway 61 and residential roadways as a primary access point.   This project will also provide relief to the adjacent subdivisions whose residential streets are currently serving as the local collector roadway.

Continuing residential development north of the project has and will continue to increase the demand for this project and the access it will provide to Wentzville Parkway.

An application for funding assistance through the St. Charles County Road Board is anticipated in 2028.  If that application is successful, then construction of this roadway extension would be planned for 2031 or 2032.
