Board of Appeals

Overview

In accordance with the International Building Code, the City has appointed a dedicated group of individuals to serve on the Building Code Board of Appeals. The Board meets when necessary to hear questions regarding Building Code effectiveness and Code Enforcement. Once a Building Code Application to Appeal form is submitted, meetings will be arranged within 20 days granted a quorum of members can be available to hear the appeal. The application for Appeal must be accompanied with a $200.00 fee and an informal interpretation from the International Code Council.

Citizens who desire to serve on the Board of Appeals may apply by completing the Boards and Commissions Application. For more information or assistance, contact the City Clerks office at (636) 327-5101.
