Why Can’t I Use My Own Personal Cart?

Personal (noncommercial) carts are easily susceptible to damage by the automatic arm on the solid waste trucks. Unfortunately, many personal carts are unable to be picked up by the automatic arm, leading to inefficient collection and potential safety concerns for the drivers. Moving forward, commercial carts will be provided, and personal carts may not be used.
