City of Wentzville Earns Top Workplace Honors for Fifth Time
Wentzville, MO (June 24, 2025) – The City of Wentzville is proud to announce it has been named a St. Louis Post-Dispatch Top Workplace for the fifth time! This distinguished recognition reinforces the City’s dedication to creating an exceptional work environment that values and empowers its employees.
The Top Workplaces list, curated by Energage relies solely on employee feedback through an independent survey. This comprehensive assessment delves into core aspects of workplace culture, including compensation, benefits, leadership and innovation.
“Our employees are the heart and soul of Wentzville — their creativity, dedication and teamwork are what make our City not just a workplace, but a thriving community,” said Mayor Nick Guccione. “Their enthusiasm inspires us all and ensures Wentzville continues to be a place where people are proud to live, work and grow.”
The City of Wentzville prioritizes being employee-driven. This recognition not only strengthens its commitment to employee well-being and professional growth but also serves as a powerful tool for attracting and retaining top talent. To earn a place on this list, organizations had to attain top scores locally while meeting national benchmarks. For the 2025 winners list, 2,682 organizations were asked to survey their employees. Based on the survey feedback, 159 organizations earned recognition as Greater St. Louis Top Workplaces. Almost 80 percent of the City’s employees took part in the survey, offering invaluable insights and perspectives. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch celebrated this achievement by dedicating a special section in the June 22 Sunday Edition, providing a tribute to the remarkable success stories of the honored workplaces.“Alongside our fifth Top Workplace honor, we’re especially proud to receive a separate Culture Excellence Award for Compensation and Benefits — this accolade celebrates organizations delivering not only competitive pay but true appreciation for their employee contributions,” said City Administrator Douglas Lee. “Thanks to the ongoing leadership of Wentzville’s Mayor and Board of Aldermen, we’re continually investing in compensation and benefits that attract and retain top talent and truly value those who deliver exceptional service.”
