Worth the Trip, Wentzville!

As Wentzville continues to grow, major infrastructure projects — including improvements to Interstate 70, Highway 61, Wentzville Parkway and Route Z — are well underway. These projects are designed to support our community long-term by improving safety, easing traffic congestion and enhancing connectivity. But we know the construction can be frustrating right now — especially for our Historic Downtown businesses. The City of Wentzville recognizes these challenges and is launching the “Worth the Trip, Wentzville” campaign to help.
This campaign aims to:
- Acknowledge the disruption caused by detours and roadwork
- Highlight the lasting benefits of better roads and infrastructure
- Encourage residents and visitors to continue supporting local businesses despite the inconvenience
- Share simple ways to support, like ordering takeout, buying gift cards, leaving positive reviews or recommending a business to a friend
Downtown is still open. Still vibrant. And still the heart of our City. We’re working to keep it top of mind for residents, even when the route there looks a little different. Let’s keep reminding Wentzville that your business is Worth the Trip.
Starting June 16, you can visit this page to download campaign graphics and find ways to get involved. We encourage small businesses to leverage these free resources — including ready-to-use social media posts and templates — to help boost visibility and engagement during construction. By sharing coordinated messages and tapping into the City’s broader outreach, your business can reach more residents who are eager to support local.
