Spring 2026 Citywide Yard Sale: April 17 and 18
If you plan to host a yard sale this year as a part of the Citywide Yard Sale event on April 17 and 1, please visit www.wentzvillemo.gov/SubmitASale to be included in the Find-A-Sale Sheet. Only Wentzville residents will be included on the Find-A-Sale sheet.

Yard sales held during the Citywide Yard Sale event do not require a Yard Sale Sign Application to display signs within Wentzville city limits. However, signage must still comply with the guidelines listed below and display permit number 26-001.
Please read the yard sale guidelines for information on the rules and regulations of signs for yard/garage sales and similar sales. Please submit your request for a permit # prior to 4:45 p.m. the day before your planned yard /garage sale, as our office hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Guidelines for Posting Yard Sale Signs
- Signs must be placed on private property and require the property owner’s express permission.
- Signs are prohibited from being placed within the City right-of-way or any sight triangle at an intersection.
- Signs may only be placed at street intersections at the entrance to or within the subdivision or neighborhood where the residential property is located.
- Only one sign may be posted at any such intersection.
- Signs must be freestanding and no larger than 4 square feet in area and 4 feet in height.
- Permitted only after 5 p.m. Friday to no later than 8 a.m. Monday
- Signs cannot be attached to utilities, trees, fences or street signs
