Road Closure – Linn Avenue at East Pearce Boulevard

Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 11, Linn Avenue just south of East Pearce Boulevard will be closed to accommodate the next phase of the traffic signal installation. Southbound traffic will be detoured to West Allen Street and northbound traffic will be detoured to East Allen Street and then to McRoberts Street. The center lane of Pearce Boulevard will remain closed during this phase. A map of the detour can be viewed here.

Schroeder Creek Water Main Project

The City is currently working to replace and upgrade the water main along Schroeder Creek Boulevard. This important project is a step toward improving water service to residents south of Interstate 70. Please be aware that the southbound lane of Schroeder Creek Boulevard, between William Dierberg Drive and West Pearce Boulevard, will be closed during construction hours, typically from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Northbound access will remain open. Detours are established for each closure, and coordination with the Wentzville School District is ongoing to avoid issues with school traffic.

Traffic attempting to travel south on Schroeder Creek Boulevard will be rerouted north on Schroeder Creek Boulevard, then east on Wentzville Parkway, south on Meyer Road and finally west on West Pearce Boulevard. A map of the detour can be viewed here.

The project will move forward in phases, with intermittent closures required as construction activity continues and as weather dictates. Weather permitting, this project is expected to be complete by early March. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the City’s infrastructure.
