Building Inspections

Notice: All inspection requests for a 2026 permit will need to be scheduled through the new SmartGov Permit Portal. Please register on the portal to create an account to process all 2026 permit inspection requests. All 2025 and older permit inspections request will still be process by using the inspection requestion button below.

For all 2025 or older permits that have been issued, you may request an inspection online. Inspections are offered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. with a break for lunch. The permit number (located at the top of the permit card) is required when requesting an inspection. Inspections must be called in by 3 p.m. of the proceeding day for next day service. A  24-48 hours notice is required to ensure that your inspection is at the date and time necessary. Scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis.
