Water Division
The City of Wentzville purchases the majority of its water from PWSD #2 of St. Charles County. The City Water Division then distributes an average of five million gallons of water daily to the residents, businesses and industries of the City of Wentzville. This is accomplished by the efforts of highly qualified water, state-certified operators maintaining over 250 miles of water mains.
Lawn Irrigation Tips: Many irrigation companies set a three-day Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule for irrigation systems. When setting up your lawn irrigation system, consider a four-day (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) cycle with shorter watering times. Also, please consider limiting water during peak weekday times: 5-8 a.m. Remember, backflow testing reports are due annually by June 1.
