Wentzville Parks and Recreation strives to offer races that are fun and unique! Our races are more than just runs, they are engaging events for the entire family to enjoy!

Crossroads Beer Run - Highlight ReelCrossroads Beer Run
Heartland Park

Join us at Heartland Park for our Crossroads Beer Run. This exciting event includes an evening 5K race followed by a night of sipping craft beer. The Crossroads Beer Run is a beautiful, flat course with paved sidewalks in Heartland Park, the surrounding streets, and loop around the lake. All racers will receive a custom short-sleeve T-shirt*, custom glass a post-race craft beers and a post-race Bavarian pretzel with cheese. Racers under the age of 21 will receive two root beers from our root beer kegs!

Interested in bringing the whole family? Kids 10 and under can participate in our FREE ¼-mile Kids Dash. We are also offering a Kids Package for ages 10 and under that includes a custom glass, T-shirt, two root beers and one pretzel for $15.

This race will be chip timed. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female only.

Packet pickup is Sept. 14 from 3-5 p.m. and Sept. 15 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Wentzville Ice Arena.
Day-of-race packet pickup and beer wristband are available from 3-4:30 p.m.; 5K race starts at 5:30 p.m.. Course and parking will be closed off at 5:15 p.m. Beer wristbands will only be available for pickup at the race and only the racer may present a driver's license to receive a wristband.

The ¼-mile FREE kids dash will begin 15 minutes prior to the 5K.

The Holiday Night Lights 5K and Fun Run will take you through our amazing light display at Rotary Park just in time for the holiday season! Runners in the 5K will race through the Stonemoor subdivision on paved sidewalks and into the rolling hills of Rotary Park. For those competitive racers, the top three overall male and female 5K finishers will each win a gift card! All
racers will receive a unisex, fleece-blend, crew sweatshirt*, finisher medal and post-race snacks. This race will be chip-timed.

Packet pickup is Dec. 1 from 3-5 p.m. and Dec. 2 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Wentzville Ice Arena. Day-of-race packet pickup and same-day registration start at 3 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. packet pickup will end and the course will be closed to street traffic. The 5K race starts at 5 p.m. The one-mile Fun Run will begin once the 5K route is clear. 5K medals will be awarded after the last runner has
completed the course. First place winners of the 5K will receive age group awards for top male and female in each of the following age groups: 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and older. The top three overall male and female competitors will not be awarded for winning their age group. If you are unable to stay for awards, you may pick up your award at the Wentzville Ice Arena up to two weeks after the event. Medals will not be mailed. No refunds after Nov. 13.
