Commemorative Tree and Bench Program
This program allows individuals to honor a loved one through the dedication of a bench or tree in one of our beautiful parks. Help improve your park and give a gift that keeps growing. Bench and tree gifts are good for memorials, anniversaries, birthdays, weddings or for the person who has everything. This is a thoughtful way to honor someone with a gift that will be around for years to come. A commemorative plaque is placed on the bench or in front of the planted tree to serve as a public reminder of the person to which it is dedicated.
Commemorative Trees
Trees serve as living reminders of loved ones that you can watch grow, thrive and add beauty to the parks.
Your contribution of $300 to the Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department includes:
- The planting of the tree in the park of your choice.
- A customized memorial plaque
- A certificate of planting
- A personalized letter sent to the recipient notifying them of your gift
Suggested Trees:
- Northern Red Oak
- Red River Birch
- Little Leaf Linden
- White Pine

- Autumn Maple
- Gingko

Commemorative Benches
Benches are a great opportunity to commemorate a loved one. It is a great place to have a quiet moment to sit and remember a loved one who has passed, to visit with the person it was dedicated to or to publicly recognize the service of an organization to their community.
Your contribution of $3,250 to the Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department includes:
- Installation of the bench in the park of your choice
- A customized memorial plaque
- A certificate of installation
- A personalized letter sent to the recipient notifying them of your gift
Please note: Due to manufacturing lead times, time of year and preceding orders, benches may take up to a year to be installed.
