Fire Hydrant Scholarship

The Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department and the Water Division have partnered with the Crossroads Art Council to offer a scholarship in recognition of art and water conservation to assist deserving high-school seniors who intend to pursue higher education at an accredited community college, four-year college or university. Participants from Holt, Timberland, Liberty and North Point high schools, as well as a Wentzville resident high-school senior enrolled in a private school or home-school program, will compete to design and decorate a themed fire hydrant. This year’s theme is “Celestial Wonders,” in recognition of the APR 8 solar eclipse!

A scholarship will be awarded to up to five high-school seniors. For more information and contest guidelines, view the Scholarship Contest Application packet online at www.crossroadsartscouncil.org or contact Andria Bryant at (636) 639-2085 or Andria.Bryant@wentzvillemo.gov.
