There is a special thank-you banner on display at the WREC, and it was made by students and staff at Flint Hill Elementary! 💚
The banner was created for Mayor Guccione and recognizes the City’s commitment to providing green spaces throughout Wentzville. Their kind words about Heartland Park are a wonderful reminder of how meaningful these spaces are for students, families and the entire community.
Before the banner was displayed at the WREC, Parks staff enjoyed taking a few photos with it at Heartland Park and City Hall. Be sure to check it out in person at the WREC the next time you visit!

We’re disheartened to share that Fireman’s Park experienced vandalism over the weekend.
As a result, a portion of the men’s restroom is currently unavailable while repairs are underway. Our team takes great pride in maintaining Wentzville`s parks and public spaces, and we’re working to restore the area as quickly as possible.
We appreciate the community’s support in helping care for our parks. If you see vandalism or damage, please report it so we can address it promptly. Thank you for helping us keep our parks safe and welcoming for everyone.
