While the Wentzville Rec Center has been closed for annual facility maintenance, a lot of projects have been completed throughout the building.
– Sanding and refinishing the gym floor
– Draining and pressure washing both swimming pools
– Power washing and adding a new clear coat to the front walkway
– Cleaning the saunas and building new cedar benches for the dry sauna
– Touching up paint throughout the facility and repainting several walls
– Dusting and deep cleaning fitness rooms and equipment
– Completing many other small projects throughout the building
Thank you for your patience during this closure. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again when we reopen tomorrow, Monday, Aug. 17!

The America 250 Concert Series returns for one final concert on Saturday, Sept. 12!
Bring friends and family to Rotary Park for a FREE concert featuring Ben Morgan & Whiskey Tango, plus food trucks, kids` entertainment and fun for all ages. Live music will begin at 6:30 p.m. This is the final concert of the summer, and we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday with music, community and fun.

Martial arts classes teach students focus, discipline and respect for themselves and others. Using traditional Taekwondo along with elements of karate and boxing, students will build coordination, strength and balance while learning practical self-defense, anti-abduction techniques and sparring.
Classes are available for ages 5-18. Visit our #LinkInBio to register. The deadline to sign up is Aug. 24.

Camp Wentzville got an extra sweet surprise last week! 🍧
Thanks to Gateway Fiber, Kona Ice stopped by to treat our campers to FREE shaved ice! Judging by the smiles (and colorful, syrup-stained faces), we’d say it was a hit.
A big thank-you to Gateway Fiber for helping make this special treat possible and adding a little extra fun to our campers’ day!
