As colder temperatures creep in, it is time to winterize restrooms at some of our parks and drinking fountains at all Wentzville parks. Effective Nov. 6, the restrooms located by the football field at Progress Park and the restrooms at Fireman’s park will be closed for the season. Drinking fountains at all outdoor parks will be closed as well. Please keep these changes in mind when you plan visits to our parks in the winter months.
Last night we hosted our very first Hugs in Motion class, an initiative to promote inclusion and health in the Wentzville community and brought to the community through a partnership with Andrew`s Hugs.
Mayor Guccione presented April Williams, Colleen Beckerle and Julie Ragusky with Certificates of Recognition for their work in making this dream a reality. Their efforts and positivity have created a place where fitness is joyful and accessible to all.
We hope to have even more people in our next class. This FREE class is offered in partnership with Andrew`s Hugs and offered on Mondays at 5 p.m. at the WREC.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our very first Frights & Bites at Heartland Park! Guests enjoyed delicious and refreshing treats from our local food and drink vendors while kids got the wiggles out chasing bubbles and bouncing on the inflatables. They met some very special guests and took home balloon animals from the talented balloon twister, too.
After some unexpected entertainment thanks to the wind and the inflatable movie screen, we concluded the night with an outdoor showing of “Hocus Pocus”. The turnout was phenomenal and we loved celebrating the spooky season in Wentzville! 🎃
