This yearβs theme for Parks and Recreation Month is Build Together, Play Together and this shines brightly at Jakeβs Field of Dreams Playground. βΎ
Did you know that the playground was built by a team of Wentzville residents, volunteers, staff and elected officials? In 2018, everyone worked together to build this fully inclusive playground on a day known as βCommunity Build Day.β π οΈ
Designed for children of all abilities and the adults who care for them, this one-of-a-kind playground goes beyond ADA standards to remove barriers and create a space where everyone can play together. Jakeβs Field of Dreams is more than just a playground, itβs a place where inclusion comes to life!
