Trash Can Art Contest

Team up with the City of Wentzville and Crossroads Art Council to raise public awareness about preventing litter in our local parks and community. Participants will create a landscape-layout (horizontal) design on an 8.5-by-11-inch piece of paper. Designs should take into account this year’s theme, “America the Beautiful”, in celebration of America 250. Contest winners will receive a $25 prize and have their artwork displayed on a trash can in one of the City of Wentzville’s parks.

The Crossroads Art Council will host two separate Trash Can Art Creation Sessions at the WREC for participants to come and complete an entry on Wednesday, March 4, from 5-7 p.m., and Saturday, March 14, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Supplies are available while they last at the Crossroads Art Council, located at 310 W. Pearce Blvd. Please visit
www.crossroadsartscouncil.org for the complete contest rules.

All entries are due by March 29 and contest winners in each age group will be announced by May 1.
