On Thursday, August 7, the Water Department will be making repairs and completing maintenance work to a water line at the intersection of Linn Avenue and W. Maple Street. This will result in a water outage for some homes in the area from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. The water outage will be followed by a precautionary boil advisory for some homes in that area. A map of the affected area can be viewed here.

Recently, our parks team has been using it to remove surplus aquatic vegetation from Heartland Lake. This powerful piece of equipment offers a chemical-free way to keep the lake looking great and improve water quality for the fish that call it home. 🐟

It’s just one of the many behind-the-scenes ways we’re building and maintaining our parks with care, creativity and community in mind. It’s also a great reminder that this year’s Parks and Recreation Month theme, β€œBuild Together, Play Together,” starts with the little things, like clearing the way for cleaner ponds and better fishing. ✨🎣

Per an update from City of Wentzville MO – Government, traffic in this area has been shifted into two lanes as part of the next phase of construction for the Wentzville Parkway lane expansion. Channelizers and signage have been installed to guide drivers through the new pattern, and the left-turn signal lights have been covered/disabled.
