The Wentzville Water Division will execute urgent repair work on the City’s main water supply transmission main beginning Monday, March 30. This work is taking place before the peak summer usage months to reduce potential impacts on customers; however, customers may still experience reduced pressure during the repair period. We anticipate the repair will be complete within 72 hours. Sustainability Partners Program

The Sustainability Partners Program is a community-wide effort to promote green business practices such as recycling and waste reduction, alternative power sources, utilizing earth-friendly cleaning products, etc. The Sustainability Partners Program works to support the City of Wentzville’s efforts to be an environmental leader and a regional destination.

This program is set up to be an easy-to-use process that allows businesses to achieve their Sustainability Partners status in a variety of ways. The program highlights existing sustainability practices, and encourages businesses to refine current practices and expand their green initiatives. Partners will report on green initiatives from various categories including energy, stewardship, health and transportation. As part of this program, Wentzville Sustainability Partners will receive marketing materials, local and regional resources, the opportunity to be highlighted in City publications, and more. Every two years, Sustainability Partners will need to recertify.

City of Wentzville’s Employee Green Team members have worked to develop internal practices and resources to help support sustainability efforts within City facilities. Since its inception in 2018, the City’s Green Team has planned to expand its efforts externally through the creation of a community advocacy network.
