July 4, 2022
This year's Fourth of July Celebration will include a parade, FREE swim at Progress Park Pool (for residents and season pass holders only) and FREE fireworks visible from Progress Park. We invite Wentzville to come celebrate our nation's independence with us!

Fourth of July Parade:
The annual Fourth of July Parade starts at 10 a.m. at the Wentzville Ice Arena and travels south on Luetkenhaus Boulevard, turns right onto Pearce Boulevard and ends at the Wentzville Community Historical Society Museum at Pearce Boulevard and Allen Street. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade by designing a float. This year's theme is "Wentzville Cheers to 150 Years." Floats will be judged for overall first-, second- and third-place, along with Mayor's Choice and Best Musical Entry for first- and second-place.

Thank you to all who have registered floats in the parade. Floats registration has now closed. We look forward to seeing all of the beautiful entries in July 4!

Fourth of July Free Swim:
Residents and passholders ONLY, join us for a FREE swim on July 4 from noon-5 p.m. at Progress Park Pool! Come compete in our annual belly flop and cannonball contests and participate in our soda drop.

Splash Station Aquatic Center will maintain normal daily operation. It will be open for regular operating hours and requires daily admission or an aquatics season pass to enter.

Please note that the activities that took place at Progress Park from 5-9 p.m. during Liberty Fest in years past will not take place. Guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the park but there will be no activities organized by the City during this time.

Fourth of July Fireworks:
Everyone is invited to bring a chair and watch the fireworks light up the sky at Progress Park! Fireworks will start at 9:05 p.m.

Thank you to our 2022 event sponsors!
