Progress Park Recreation Center houses the sports administrative office and maintenance division of Wentzville Parks & Recreation. The Recreation Center includes a gymnasium, fitness center and elevated track. Progress Park Center, a banquet facility and Progress Park Pool are also located in Progress Park.

*A household consists of no more than two adults and up to three children 22 years of age or younger living in the same household. Additional children may be added to a membership for $25 per child (for residents) or $35 per child (for nonresidents). 

Eligible individuals with SilverSneakers or RenewActive may receive an Indoor Recreation Pass free of charge. This pass covers access to Progress Park Recreation Center gym and fitness areas. It does not include fitness classes.

Once you have purchased your pass, all pass holders will need to come to Progress Park Recreation Center (or Splash Station Aquatic Center during operating hours) to have their photos taken and their passes printed. We highly recommend printing passes prior to pools opening so you do not have to wait in line to visit the pool.

Recreation Center Hours
Peak Hours are in effect Labor Day through Memorial Day and are as follows:
Monday-Saturday:
9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Nonpeak Hours are in effect Memorial Day through Labor Day and are as follows:
Monday-Saturday:
9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

On these days each year, Progress Park Recreation Center will be closed and no classes or programs will be held:
  • New Year's Day
  • Super Bowl Sunday (Closes at 3 p.m.)
  • Easter Sunday
  • Independence Day (Closed indoors)
  • Facility Maintenance (Sept. 25-Oct. 1)
  • Halloween (Closes at 3 p.m.)
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Eve (Closes at 3 p.m.)
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Eve (Closes at 3 p.m.)
A concession stand is available during pool hours, parties and tournaments.

Pickleball
Drop-In Pickleball is available at Progress Park Recreation Center Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-noon through May 2023. We have paddles and pickleballs available for guests to borrow if they do not have their own.

Drop In Volleyball
Drop-In Volleyball is available on Sundays from noon-3 p.m. May 7 through Aug. 27 on the front court of Progress Park Gym.

Progress Park Pool is open Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-29) and daily June 1-Aug. 20. Once Wentzville School District resumes classes on Aug. 21, it is open on Sundays only (Aug. 27 and Sept. 3) and then closes for the season.

All guests must pay admission or swipe a pass even if they do not intend to swim . If you are interested in information on Outdoor Aquatic Season Passes, please click here. A Resident or Nonresident card will be required for those paying the daily visit fee.

At this time we are not offering aquatic facility rentals.

Ages of Unattended Patrons:
Children ages 9 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult 16 years of age or older.

Baby Pool Usage:
Only children 6 years of age and under are allowed in the baby pool.  Children must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older.  Children must not be left unattended in the baby pool. Swim diapers are available for purchase at the front desk for $2.
