Notice is hereby given that the City of Wentzville, County of St. Charles, Missouri, will hold a municipal election in each of the three wards on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, for the purpose of electing a Municipal Judge, one Alderman from each of the three wards for two-year terms, and for the voters to consider the term of office for the Aldermen to four (4) years, consider imposing a sales tax of three percent (3.0%) on the retail sale of adult use marijuana and to consider establishing an annual sewer lateral fee.

PROPOSITION NO. 1
Shall the term of office for Aldermen of the City of Wentzville, Missouri, be changed to four (4) years as allowed by the statutes of the state of Missouri?

PROPOSITION M
Shall the City of Wentzville, Missouri, impose a sales tax of three percent (3.0 %) on the retail sale of adult use marijuana within the City of Wentzville to provide funding for the City’s Police Department, infrastructure, and other City needs?

PROPOSITION S
Shall a maximum charge not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) be assessed annually on residential property for each lateral sewer service line serving six or less dwelling units on that property and condominiums that have six or less condominium units per building and any condominium responsible for its own individual lateral sewer line to provide funds to pay the cost of certain repairs of those lateral sewer service lines which may be billed quarterly or annually?


The City Clerk prepares and maintains the agendas and minutes of Board of Aldermen proceedings, recording and filing official City records, certifying and issuing official documents, filing official notices and advertisements and posting public notices as required by law. The City Clerk accepts filing for candidacy in City elections, officially swears in public officials and certain public employees for public office. The City Clerk's Office offers notary public services and maintains the subdivision trustee database. The City Clerk is also responsible for public records requests, as well as the licenses and permits shown below.

  • Mechanical Amusement Centers - Chapter 625 of the Wentzville Municipal Code Book
