Heartland Park Athletic Fields are available to rent for games, tournaments or practices. The facility includes synthetic and grass fields, as well as two pavilions built next to Jake's Field of Dreams. The two regulation synthetic turf soccer/football fields include a score board, play clocks and bleachers. The two grass fields include permanent soccer goals, perfect for youth and adult soccer games.

Jake's Field of Dreams Playground
Named after a little boy whose brief life inspired a community, Jake's Field of Dreams is a destination playground that is designed for all children, particularly those with disabilities. The features of this playground surpass typical ADA standards and enable children with a wide variety of abilities to engage in play.
Additionally, adults with disabilities have the opportunity to play alongside their children. Many caregivers are unable to take children to a typical playground because they are unable to access the structure should their child need them. Mulch, pea gravel and stairs equate to barriers for anyone with difficulty walking on soft, unstable surfaces or who are confined to a wheelchair. This playground features a safe, spongy surfacing that ensures mobility for all.
Jake's Field of Dreams playground includes a variety of sports-themed structures that are completely accessible to children of all abilities. This includes ramping systems from the bottom to the very top of every play element! In addition, transfer stations, specialized seating, hand-holds and slanted climbing systems are also a part of this all-inclusive playground. Jake's Field of Dreams provides a place where all children can interact with one another, regardless of their ability.

Heartland Park has both synthetic turf and natural grass fields available for rent. To reserve a field, please complete an Athletic Field Usage Application. A staff member will reach out to you when your application has been reviewed to discuss payment.
Pavilion Rentals

Whether it is a family outing, corporate picnic, wedding or other special events, Wentzville Parks and Recreation makes it easy for you to host your event. Reservations are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis between March 1-Oct. 31*. Each pavilion has electric outlets, picnic tables and restrooms on park property.
If you rental includes inflatables, water slide or an additional tent, you must complete a Special Event Application.
