Allen Street Road Closure

Allen Street will be closed between Locust Street and Ash Street beginning Jan. 25, 2021, for the Allen Street Revitalization Project. At this time, this section will only be closed during working hours. Subsequent closures and updates will be provided as the work progresses.

Veterans Memorial Parkway

As of Nov. 5, 2020, Veterans Memorial Parkway (the I-70 south outer road) between South Point Prairie Road and Schaper Road is currently closed and projected to remain closed until June of 2021.

This closure is required for the construction of the retaining wall along Veterans Memorial Parkway for the new on- and off-ramps for eastbound I-70. This closure will also allow the crews to begin construction of the bridge over the railroad. There will be a signed detour route using I-70 between Highway W and Wentzville Parkway.

• Traffic west of Schaper Road will need to use Eastbound I-70 and Wentzville Parkway to access Veterans Memorial Parkway and South Point Prairie Road.
• Traffic east of South Point Prairie Road will need to use Westbound I-70 and Hwy W to access Veterans Memorial Parkway and Schaper Road.

In addition to the signed detours, Interstate Drive, will serve as an alternate route for the duration of this project.

May Road

Starting Thursday, Jan. 22, May Road will close to thru traffic between Bear Creek Drive and THF Drive so Ameren can conduct a pole replacement project. This closure will be accessible to local traffic only, is scheduled to last for approximately two weeks and will be limited to working hours Monday through Friday.

Ameren will be replacing poles along May Road, West Meyer Road and Wentzville Parkway though the first half of 2021. The purpose of these pole replacements is to increase capacity and loading for improved service reliability. Information regarding future closures will be provided as the work progresses.
