Mission: Clean Stream
|ATTENTION: Volunteers Needed
This year there are more sites that need a helping hand even after Mission: Clean Stream! See below for information on how to get involved!
It is Mission: Clean Stream's 20th Anniversary!
On April 2 , 2022, across the county, hundreds of volunteers helped restore many streams. Here in Wentzville, we spent our time in the Peruque and Dry Branch watersheds. These streams are important to the health of our community and support a variety of wildlife and land uses. Register as an individual, family or organization (ages 6 and older).
In two hours, 80 volunteers picked up over 1,500lbs of trash! We couldn't do it without all of you.
There are more sites that are in need of a helping hand. If you are interested in volunteering in the month of May please follow this link!

- Trash is messy! Long pants and insect repellent are recommended.
- Be sure to sign a waiver before you come to save time. Be sure that either each participant signs the waiver (must sign in advance for volunteers under 18 participating without a parent). The link to the electronic waiver will be added soon.
2022 Event Schedule
April 2, 2022
8:00 AM Tree Seminar
9:00 AM Mission: Clean Stream registration and supply pickup
12:00 PM Light lunch for volunteers at Peruque Valley Park
Despite the rain, over 30 residents participated in cleanups across the City of Wentzville on the April 10th cleanup. Almost 2,000lbs of trash were removed. This is extremely notable because this event normally has over 150 volunteers who on average remove almost 3,500 lbs of trash.
Thank you to the volunteers who make our community a better, cleaner and more beautiful place. We are grateful for your dedication to our community's water quality. Check back later for 2022's event information.
